Mission
The Task Force will work together to assist in developing Accounting & Auditing conferences. Those conferences include:
- Spring Accounting & Auditing Conferences (2 Locations)
- Fall Accounting Conference
- and additional conferences as needed
Goals
- Review feedback from prior conferences as well as suggestions from members to decide which topics should and should not be included in upcoming conferences.
- Work together to brainstorm ideas for new topics to hold at upcoming conferences.
- Assist the MICPA in recruiting new speakers.
- Make the MICPA aware of any hot new A&A related issues of interest for the membership.
- Be a resource for other MICPA Task Forces to call upon for A&A topic related questions.
- Assist the MICPA in the growth of the Task Force.
Participation
The task force requirement is to attend at least 50% of the scheduled task force meeting either via conference call or in person.
