Mission
Design, plan and present, the annual two-day trade show featuring exhibits and displays of interest to members, firms and clients. Offer, in conjunction with the shows, educational workshops on current topics. Serve as a resource to other MICPA task forces considering the use of vendor-related activities at their events. The task force will also assist in planning the CPE Mega Conferences offered in various locations throughout the state.
Goals
- Review feedback from prior conferences and shows as well as suggestions from members to decide which topics should and should not be included in upcoming events.
- Work together to brainstorm ideas for new topics to hold at upcoming conferences and shows.
- Assist the MICPA in recruiting new speakers.
- Assist the MICPA in the growth of the Task Force.
Participation
The task force requirement is to attend at least 50% of the scheduled task force meeting either via conference call or in person.
